ICRP Scholarly Books, a division of ICR Publications Ltd, is dedicated to providing comprehensive publishing services for scholarly research books across various academic domains. ICRP Books: This premium imprint publishes outstanding scholarly books written by and for scholars and the academic community. Each book undergoes rigorous peer review by independent experts and aligns with international research standards to ensure the highest quality.

INNOVATE Books: Focused on high-value, research-driven emerging scholarly books, INNOVATE Books caters to scholars and the research community. Our publications follow international scientific protocols and are rigorously peer-reviewed, meeting global academic standards.

TEACH Books: TEACH Books publishes research-based materials, such as textbooks, lecture series, and manuals/handbooks, crafted by scholars, practitioners, or field experts. Our target audience includes professionals, practitioners, students, and academics seeking focused and informative content.

CONNECT Books: Geared towards a general public audience, CONNECT Books provides research-based publications authored by scholars, practitioners, or field experts. With a focus on non-fiction titles and literary works, this imprint aims to appeal to a wide range of readers.

Every book we publish is available to read online for free. Additionally, printed versions are available through a print-on-demand service. This offers a sustainable and cost-effective way to publish, coupled with timely printing and delivery.

Our Book Services

Peer Review Management: The manuscript selection and commercial publishing processes operate independently to prevent undue commercial influence over the selection process.

Plagiarism Detection Management: We use a leading provider of professional plagiarism detection and prevention technology to ensure the originality of written work before publication.

Online Publication Engagement: We offer online engagement throughout the publication process, which includes preparing your book proposal, copyediting, and proofreading.

Layouts in Several Digital Formats: All books are freely available on our website in PDF format. The physical print copy and ePUB versions can be ordered for a fee.

Indexing Services Management: We work closely with relevant indexing services to ensure that published books will be available in their databases. These include OAPEN, DOAB, Scopus, Google Books, and Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics Book Citation Index).

Marketing: ICRP promotes books in the following ways:

  1. A book launch announcement in our appropriate domain collection newsletter.
  2. Listing the book on our website and library websites under the appropriate domain collection.
  3. A direct email to announce the launch to contacts provided by the author.
  4. A book launch announcement on our social media pages.
  5. Indexing the book on OAPEN and DOAB.
  6. Proposing the book to web indexes such as Scopus, Google Books, and Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics Book Citation Index).
  7. Encouraging authors to update their online profiles, for example, their Wikipedia profiles, blog profiles, the website of the institution where they work, LinkedIn profile, email signatures, etc., by listing their new book with a link to the book catalogue.
  8. We also encourage our authors to create an ORCID profile.

Distribution: All open-access books are freely available on our website in PDF format. The physical print copy and ePUB versions of all available books can be ordered for a fee.

Memberships and Sponsorships: ICRP is a member of OAPEN, a dedicated platform for hosting, dissemination, discovery, and preservation of open-access books. We are sponsors of the Directory of Open Access Books, for increased discoverability of open-access books. ICRP is a member and/or subscribes to the standards and code of practices of several leading industry organizations.

Ethics and Policies

ICRP Publications Ltd endorses and applies the standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which promotes integrity in peer-reviewed research publications. ICRP and its editors take reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of books where research misconduct has occurred. ICRP and its editors do not encourage or knowingly allow misconduct to take place.

Publication Policies:

  • Human and Animal Rights: Ensuring ethical and responsible research practices.
  • Plagiarism and Fabrication: Upholding originality and integrity in all publications.

Corrections, Clarifications, Retractions, and Apologies If any allegations of research misconduct are brought to the attention of ICRP or its editors, they will be dealt with appropriately. ICRP and its editors are committed to publishing corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies as needed to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

Human and Animal Rights

ICRP promotes ethical and responsible research practices, including:

  • Adherence to national standards for research practices in human and animal studies.
  • Approval of studies by relevant bodies, such as ethics committees or institutional review boards.
  • Informed consent for human participants and appropriate care for experimental animals.
  • Ethical review by editors and peer reviewers.
  • Consideration of manuscripts from regions without ethics committees, with an explanatory statement if published.

Plagiarism and Fabrication

ICRP does not tolerate plagiarism or fabrication. Manuscripts are scanned for originality using professional detection technology. If plagiarism is found after publication, the manuscript will be investigated, and appropriate actions, including retraction, will be taken.

Correcting the Record

ICRP is committed to preserving the historical accuracy of all publications. Corrections, whether errata, corrigenda, addenda, retractions, or expressions of concern, will be clearly linked to the original publication and follow a transparent process to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

Competing Interests

Authors must disclose any relevant competing interests, including financial and non-financial relationships, that could influence their research. This transparency helps maintain trust and objectivity in the publication process.
